Community Involvement

Chris is an former board member for CASA Baton Rouge. Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers speak up for the children who have been abused, neglected or abandoned by their parents or caregivers and have been placed in foster care through no fault of their own. As these children navigate through juvenile court and child protection proceedings, CASA volunteers advocate for their best interests with the ultimate goal being a safe and permanent home.

Since Christopher McGhee was five years old, he has been actively involved in the game of baseball. In 2009 Christopher helped the LSU win their sixth National Championship in the College World Series. He stays actively involved in the sport by coaching youth travel baseball for the Traction Sports Program.
